I was commissioned to create a logo for a lifestyle barbecue brand, "Yard Hard." The challenge was to create something that would work well on a t-shirt, bumper sticker, or hat, and that conjured images of barbecuing in the yard rather than looking too much like a landscaping business.
The typography, logo, and illustrations were custom created in Adobe Illustrator.

Initial draft of the logo and wordmark. Feedback from the client was that the fence read a little too much like a landscaping or gardening business, that they would like a more "solid" style choice for typography, and wanted the illustration to be close to their likeness.
