Hi, I'm Nila! I'm a local LA designer with a background as a pro water polo player, coach, & ocean lifeguard. I take pride in producing well crafted, thoughtful designs that aim to delight. I particularly enjoy graphic illustration and being involved in brand identity design, and have been working to expand my expertise into motion graphics, photo manipulation. and UX.
I spent nearly a decade living abroad across Australia & Europe, and I am continually inspired by the people, cultures, and natural beauty I encounter in the world around me. I believe that the magic of great design lives in the details, and look for ways to create bold, unique designs that will leave a lasting impact.
I am a lifelong learner, recently adding an Associates Degree in Graphic Design from SMC to my Masters in Education from Durham University (UK) and my Bachelors in Health Sciences from UC Santa Cruz (Go Banana Slugs!) I'm continually working to further develop my skills and aesthetic, and I love learning new tips and tricks to help my designs come to life. I’ll always be a teacher at heart, and I am comfortable in leadership roles where I place importance on teamwork, collaborative strategizing, and elevating the voices of those around me. When I'm not working, you can find me at the beach or at the pool doing the things that I love the most!
