The Brief: In this academic project, I was tasked with creating a label and magazine ad for a beverage of my invention. I came up with the company "Happy Bear Beers," which would be locally brewed in Southern California. This was a great opportunity to create an illustration and incorporate it into functional product packaging.

The mood board and initial mind map gave me the idea for a playful bear doing different human-like activities. Each different type of beer could potentially have the bear engaged in a different activity, to help bring personality to the brand.
