Coach's Duties
As a high school water polo coach and a graphic design student, I had many opportunities to blend the two worlds, designing social media posts, team gear, flyers, and posters for the team to use throughout the season. Here I will showcase some of the work that I did for El Segundo High School's water polo program. Go Eagles!!

Alumni Game
In 2022 ESHS hosted the first alumni game in over 5 years. We wanted to reach as many people as we could, get them to sign up, and make the event feel approachable & fun- not intimidating.
I created two versions of a flyer that could be sent to alumni men & women. It included a QR code so that people could easily register for the event, and utilized warm happy colors to make the event feel approachable.
Over 50 Alumni attended the event, the largest ESHS water polo function that anyone could remember in recent history. We raised over $1000 for our program, and had great feedback from everyone involved. We collected donations and shirt orders seamlessly using the QR code and google form, and had an accurate head count based on the signups to feed everyone barbecue!
We followed up with another alumni game in 2023, with a new set of posters.

Personalized Notes
At the end of the season I like to give personalized, hand written, "pump up" notes to each of the kids with advice and affirmations. This was the 2023 notecard that I made for Trojan WP club- based off of our "team mascots"- one of the kid's dogs (Groot) and my foster dog (Rose), who would often be on deck during practices. (Designed on illustrator, printed onto 4x6 notecards, and red background painted with acrylic paint.) The second one was for the 2024 ES Boys CIF Championship game, with our team motto of "Stay Hungry, Stay Humble."
